3. Divan Film Festival, Cetate, Romania – 23, 24 & 25 August 2016 (3 Days)

Host organisation: Balkan Cultural Institute Association/Divan Film Festival

The 5C Project caravan stops in Cetate for a three day event, organised by the Balkan Cultural Institute Association in collaboration with Divan Film Festival, and with the support of National Film Centre of Romania and of the Romanian Cultural Institute. The diverse programme includes feature and short film screenings, a Q&A session, two workshops by leading experts and an international conference on Balkan cinema. Among the highlights of the program are: the screening of film The Parade/ Parada and Q&A with the acclaimed Serbian director Srdjan Dragojević, the international conference “Urban Stories in the Balkans” and the two workshops are: “Film Criticism: The Digital Age” by Professor Dana Duma and “In/Outside the Editing Room” by Aleksandra Milovanović.

3a. End of August – September Online

The young Romanian audiences and students who participated in the events are invited to contribute with texts on the screened films to be published on the dedicated website. The five ambassadors will upload their written or photographic experiences and invite Albanian young people to Tirana, where the next event is scheduled, during Tirana International Film Festival. During this period, the ambassadors are mentored by Ana Grgić and Marian Tutui via Skype (one session per person).

 

Film(E)scape, Belgrade, Serbia / 26 – 29 August 2016

Belgrade Film(E)scape is an associated event of the 5C Project Cine-Caravan: City_Culture_Cinema. The weekend-long Belgrade workshop program, taking place between the events in Cetate and Tirana. For more information read the detailed program here.
